This week, Christian looks back at four underrated shows from the 2013 theater season.

Space Voyage: The Musical Frontier

By Nicholas Connors and Quinn Elmer

Directed by Amanda Connors

Come check out InterMission Theatre's World Premiere production!

'Space Voyage: The Musical Frontier' is a new full scale, 2-act musical that parodies classic science fiction. With a wholly original plot and story, this hilarious musical follows the bumbling Captain David Drake and his crew aboard the U.S.S. Derivative as they try to save the galaxy from one of its greatest threats. The musical features original music and lyrics by UW-Madison student Nicholas Connors as well as a script co-written by fellow undergraduate Quinn Elmer and Connors.

Produced by InterMission Theatre at Bartell Theater's Drury Stage, 113 E. Mifflin St., Madison
