More Episodes

In this episode, I chat with Karen Kiess, Teacher and Mindset and Wellness Coach. Karen and I discuss mindset and the power of not getting attached to outcomes, so that you can be open to new opportunities that present themselves on your journey.

During our conversation we chat about:

  • The opportunities that repeatedly present themselves for you are meant for you.
  • Being open to exploring and trying new things.
  • Tapping into your intuition to guide you to the path you need to take next.

Powerful Insights:

  • “If you don’t see that there is a detour to take because you are so focused on getting to that end point, then you are going to miss so many opportunities, and I really appreciate stepping back and just allowing for space, and allowing for it not to be like a race, because I think we are constantly given opportunities ,but we have to be open to see it. “

  • “When it is in your gut and its your intuition telling you and its been gnawing at you I feel like there are also signs and there’s also messages, that are constantly being dropped in front of you but then you just don’t see it or you are not open to receiving it because you are resisting already.”

  • "We are our best allies, but also our worst enemy. So we are the ones that can propel ourselves, or we are one and the same that can hold us back. So it depends. Where are you going to put that energy?"

  • “If you didn’t have it in the first place, you have nothing to lose….If you didn’t step out of your comfort zone, go for it, explore it, try it, have your learning curves, your learning experiences, then what’s the big deal, you never had it in the first place…the worst that could happen is that you could be exactly where you’re at right this moment, but the best that could happen is that you could be in that dream that you had tugging at you…Everything we experience is exactly what we were supposed to experience and every person we come across is a person that needed to get us to get to the next place."

  • “Don’t think that this journey is a lonesome journey. Get community, have people around you, be in a group of people who are going to be supportive and lift you….Sometimes when you change, you may have to change the people around you….put yourself in a different environment of people that can support your journey. “

Tips to move you forward on your journey:

  1. “Put yourself first. Love on your self….If we give so much of ourselves away there is no way we are going to be able to fill other people’s cups. Our pitchers need to be full.”  Having  a lot of self love for yourself, investing in your own self is probably the  best thing you can do for helping and supporting others….Our purpose is to serve others…It’s hard to serve from a place of lack, a place of scarcity.”
  2. Spend some time stepping back and just listening to your internal self…Study yourself and get into your own mind.
  3. “Listen. Try the thing. Do the things. Explore the things.  Give your intuition a place in life and value. And have the dream….Give yourself an opportunity to grow and thrive and live this vibrant purpose-filled life.”
