DMing is hard work and sometimes despite our best efforts we don’t see the quality of our work the same way as our players do, no matter how much they say it was fun or amazing, we just can’t see it ourselves. In today’s session we wanted to talk about something akin to imposter syndrome for DM’s. What we ourselves feel and the suggestions we have to often remind ourselves to overcome it.   If you have any questions please reach out to us via e-mail at [email protected] or through Twitter at @WizardsPod.   Intro and Outro music by: David Fesliyan Artwork by: Gilbert...

You may have been lucky at some point to have a great DM at your table, but what made them great? Was it how they roleplayed an npc or how they crafted an engaging or thrilling adventure? Were they ready to go when they sat down at the table, prepared for the night’s activities.? If you had to take all those qualities and instill them into a DM, what would make an ideal DM to you? Today in our session we talk about the positive traits we want to see in ourselves as DMs and the DMs we play under as we think on the DM’s side of the screen. The ideal DM, the one we want to play with and the one we want to be. So grab a drink, sit down, and have a listen.
