Discussion with Dr. Carole Lieberman
"Banning Guns Won’t Stop Mass Shooters, Better Parenting Will!” America has been rocked by another horrific mass shooting. Robert ‘Bobby’ Crimo III, 22 years old, stood on the roof of a store and opened fire on a crowd below during a 4th of July parade. Crimo, the murderer, was an amateur rapper, who had posted sinister rap videos glamorizing classroom shootings. He was a loner, who lived in an apartment behind his parents’ house and was still unemployed after losing his job at Panera after the lockdowns. Democrats are already busy blaming guns, and calling for red flaws that failed to stop the latest mass murderer. Crimo displayed abundant signs of being a dangerous and violent murderer, but no one paid attention to these clues! No ban on guns would've stopped him, but better parenting would have.

Interview with Mr. Paul Manafort
Clarity from Chaos Guest: : Paul Manafort, author of: As campaign chairman for Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign, Paul put into place the structure that delivered the nomination and eventually the general election for Donald J. Trump. A riveting account of the HOAX that sent a presidential campaign chairman to solitary confinement because he wouldn’t turn against the President of the United States. The chief weapon deployed by the government-corporate-media Establishment against the Trump presidency was propaganda. Time and again, allegations from anonymous sources were disseminated by a partisan media, promoted by a dishonest Democrat Party leadership, and ultimately debunked when the facts surfaced. But by the time the truth came out, it was too late. There had already been casualties. One of the highest profile casualties was Paul Manafort. Desperate to defeat Donald Trump—or hamper his presidency after he won—Democrats and their Establishment allies colluded with foreign operatives to concoct a completely false narrative about Paul’s supposed conspiracy with pro-Russian elements in Ukraine to further Vladimir Putin’s efforts to influence the 2016 presidential election. But it wasn’t just defamation of Paul’s character. They took the unprecedented step of enlisting the US intelligence and law enforcement communities in using their power against President Trump and his campaign team. the lies left unchallenged by media who pronounced Paul guilty long before his case ever saw the inside of a courtroom. Not only is it untrue that Victor Yanukovych or any of Paul’s clients were “pro-Putin,” it is the opposite of the truth. Paul’s work in Ukraine and throughout his career was 100 percent aligned with US interests in the countries he worked in, sometimes even acting as a back channel for the White House itself. Neither was Paul guilty of laundering money, evading taxes, or deliberately deceiving the US government by failing to register as a foreign agent—which he wasn’t. These were all politically motivated charges manufactured by the Special Counsel’s team for one reason and one reason only: to get Paul to testify against Donald Trump about a conspiracy that never existed. When they hear the basis of these spurious charges, Americans will wonder what country they are living in and what has happened to our system of justice. Political Prisoner tells the real story of Paul’s life and career, exploding the lies about his work in Ukraine, his previous work with foreign governments and business interests in other countries, his involvement with the Trump campaign, and the “process crimes” for which he was wrongly convicted and sent to prison. It is no exaggeration to say that everything most Americans think they know about Paul Manafort is false.

Interview with Judge Andrew Gould
is a former Justice on the Arizona Supreme Court and current candidate for Arizona Attorney General. Back in May, candidate for Arizona Attorney General Judge Andrew Gould offered an ingenious plan to Curb the border invasion. By designation the land bordering Mexico as ‘no trespassing zones,” Gould explained that the states are authorized under the 10th Amendment’s police powers to enforce state law. And “when cartels and caravan groups come across the border and step on state or private land, we have jurisdiction to enforce any criminal law they violate — the first, of course. is trespass.” Gould explained that per federal law “we can’t deport them, but they can voluntarily return to Mexico as part of a plea agreement,.” Also, “if they come back at any point of their two-year probation … they can go to prison.” No matter what group or category the illegal immigrant falls under, “there has got be a consequence for violating the law” — something that doesn’t concern Biden. But there are, of course, no legal consequences for illegally entering the United States under the Biden administration. But there are deadly consequences for those paying smugglers to get across. At least 51 were found dead in a tractor-trailer in San Antonio, Texas and more than a dozen were hospitalized, authorities said. Two of those taken to a hospital later died, officials said, bringing the total death toll to 48 by Monday night. An updated figure was released Tuesday afternoon. Crews were at the 9600 block of Quintana Road where an 18-wheeler containing up to 100 migrants inside was found abandoned, Fox San Antonio reported. The discovery is part of what is believed to be a human smuggling operation. "This is nothing short of a horrific human tragedy," San Antonio Mayor Ron Nirenberg said Monday night near the location where the tractor-trailer was found. Authorities at the scene initially confirmed 46 individuals were found deceased, none of which were children. Officials did not say whether the individuals had or elsewhere. "The plight of migrants seeking refuge is always a humanitarian crisis but tonight we are dealing with a horrific human tragedy," the mayor added. Sixteen individuals from the tractor-trailer were transported to the hospital, including 12 adults and four children. "We hope those responsible for putting these people in such inhumane conditions are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law," the mayor said. San Antonio Police Department Chief William McManus said a nearby worker notified authorities about the tractor-trailer shortly before 6 p.m. Upon arriving at the scene, officials found dozens of deceased inside the back of the transport vehicle. "This is now a federal investigation," McManus said. The police chief also said at least three people were in custody but did not specify if the individuals were suspects in the investigation.

Interview with Dr. Naomi Wolf
Naomi Wolf, author of . Wolf is co-founder and CEO of , a successful civic tech company. The Bodies of Others is about how we came to the harrowing civilizational crossroads at which we find ourselves - engaged in a war against vast impersonal forces with limitless power over our lives and which threaten the freedoms we have always taken for granted. In her most provocative book yet, Dr. Naomi Wolf shows how these forces -- from Big Tech and Big Pharma to the CCP and our oligarchical elites -- seized upon two years of COVID-19 panic in sinister new ways, to not only undermine our Republic but to fundamentally reorient human relations. Their target is humanity itself. Their end goal is to ensure that our pre-March 2020 world is gone forever. Irretrievable. To be replaced with a world in which all human endeavor-all human joy, all human fellowship, all human advancement, all human culture, all human song, all human drama, all worship, all surprise, all flirtation, all celebration-is behind a digital paywall. A world in which we will all have to ask technology's permission to be human. But we, the people of the world, did not vote to abandon our old systems and destroy our old ways so absolutely they could never be recovered. And Wolf shows how, against overwhelming odds, we still might win.

Interview with John O'Connor
06/02/2022
Interview with John O'Connor
That the fraudulent, media-hyped fiasco was a colossal waste of civic energy is now beyond doubt to all but the most bitterly partisan. But scant attention has been paid to its enablement of the tragic Russian invasion of Ukraine. The premise of “” was that Vladimir Putin was assisting Donald Trump in defeating Presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton in the 2016 U.S. presidential election. Even though collusion was never proven, the conclusion is still being bruited about that Putin wished Trump to win. If, to the contrary, Putin was in fact actively seeking to defeat Trump, this attempt may provide insight into the whys and wherefores of his Ukraine invasion. To be sure, the trivial and ineffective Russian were laughable and likely done for private profit, not geopolitical effect. But whatever the motivation, they were admittedly inconsequential. But what did move the needle in our domestic politics was the Russiagate scandal itself, interfering with Trump’s agenda while magnifying his contentious style, perhaps causing enough marginal diminution in his support to affect the 2020 U.S. election outcome. So, yes, the Clinton campaign may have unwittingly caused the election of Joe Biden in 2020. But was this collusion hoax solely the action of Clinton and her domestic supporters in the media and government? More to the point, was Vladimir Putin a willing ally of Clinton in this fabrication? Let’s examine the evidence. Prior to 2016, Clinton had been nothing but a seemingly corrupt and compromised patsy of Putin, a fact ignored by the media. One of the first acts of President Obama and Secretary of State Clinton was to unilaterally, without quid pro quo, in Poland and the Czech Republic pointing sophisticated defensive missiles toward Russia. This technology could have been used as an effective deterrent or a weapon in defense of Ukraine. Clinton also encouraged, as part of the “Russian Reset,” the to the “Russian Silicon Valley” at Skolkovo, over the objection of the U.S. Defense Department, enriching Clinton Foundation supporters in both Russia and America. Then, when Clinton’s State Department held the sole “equity” vote, it approved the sale of Uranium One, quickly transferred to Putin’s Rosatom. Now Putin had enhanced military power as well as uranium pricing power, including to America’s nuclear power industry. The financial beneficiaries of the Uranium One deal contributed $150-350 million , which housed many of her campaign staff. Eleven Russian intelligence agents hovering around the Uranium One deal were arrested and sent back quickly to Russia, without any attempts to cajole the inside story of a seemingly corrupt transaction. Clinton’s heirs then pushed the destabilizing , with for Iran, using Russia as an intermediary for the negotiations. Of course, this same State Department approved of Putin’s march across Ukraine to take over Crimea in 2014, with our government providing only such as blankets and MREs (Meals Ready to Eat) in support of Ukraine. And let us also not forget that in 2010, Clinton’s State Department encouraged and facilitated Ukraine’s surrendering of over 1.1 million light arms and shoulder-fired missile launchers in exchange for vaguely worded security assurances. So, when the 2016 U.S. presidential election came around, would any rational person believe that Putin wished Trump to defeat the highly compromised and highly compromisable Clinton? But what evidence is there that Putin sought to help Clinton and defeat Trump? Hired by the Clinton campaign through Fusion GPS, ex-spy Christopher Steele (author of the infamous ) had as a longstanding client , Putin’s close friend and aluminum oligarch. For years, Steele’s Orbis Business Intelligence had touted Deripaska as a “good oligarch” in over 100 intelligence reports to U.S. government agencies. In 2016, Steele was hired by Glenn Simpson of Fusion GPS to perform lucrative work for Prevezon Holdings, a Russian company owned by the family of oligarch Denis Katsyv. Prevezon was of $230 million taken by the American government under the Magnitsky Act, an anti-Putin law caused by the killing of Russian lawyer Sergei Magnitsky. Who did Steele hire as his primary subsource to prepare his Dossier? One , suspected and never exonerated as a Russian spy. Danchenko received a crucial piece of his false narrative from close, longtime Clinton ally, Charles Dolan, connected to him through seeming Russian intelligence asset . But was Dolan also a Russian agent? Yes, he was a publicly disclosed Russian PR agent whom the had the trust and respect of Putin’s inner circle. While Danchenko hid Dolan’s involvement, Dolan at the time of the Dossier was actively working with Russian Embassy officials (read: intelligence agents). Steele also informed the State Department that he used as his sources Vyacheslav Trubnikov, the former Director of Russian intelligence service , and , “Putin’s Rasputin,” working closely with Putin in the Kremlin. Were these Russian agents working against Putin’s wishes in exposing a Putin-Trump conspiracy? If they were doing so, wouldn’t their faces soon be found in their cereal bowls? So, it seems obvious that, completely contrary to the cartoonish narrative adopted by the media, this Russian collusion story was actively assisted by Vladimir Putin, and that there was indeed collusion … between Putin and Clinton. Recall that , John Brennan’s CIA had already gained Russian intelligence showing that Clinton’s foreign policy advisor, Jake Sullivan, had been the author of the hoax, and revealing that Russia was up to the minute on it. What was Putin’s motive in assisting Clinton by allowing his close allies to participate in the hoax? There is no reason to believe but that in 2016 Putin wished to make Ukraine a vassal state. He knew then that Clinton would likely willingly play ball, and in any case could be so compelled by strong kompromat. While in office barely three months, into the joint Syrian-Russian Shayrat airbase in retaliation for use of chemical weapons. He also ordered a against Iran (Russian ally) General Qassim Soleimani, seemingly planning terrorist action. During Trump’s term, Putin did not even feint at full-scale invasion of Ukraine. But, as soon as Joe Biden was elected, on the Ukraine border. Meanwhile, Biden, through National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, the author of the Russiagate fabrication, sought Russian and Iranian oil to backstop dwindling American fossil fuel production, while . Almost immediately, Biden and Sullivan paused a large package of lethal American weapons aid to Ukraine, later halting the transfer to Ukraine of MIGs from Poland, while doing nothing to rattle sabers at Putin in advance of the invasion. Indeed, Biden seemed to be offering Putin an engraved invitation, assuring him that America would not take action in Ukraine’s defense. In short, Putin did not suddenly, in early 2021, begin to wish a Ukraine invasion. Even though he did not successfully help Clinton get elected in 2016, because of his support of the Russiagate deceit Putin got an even weaker United States President in Biden. So, the Russiagate canard had far more than domestic partisan effect, as wished by Clinton, American intelligence agencies and the partisan media. Our nation’s global security, and that of our allies, as well as food and energy security, have all been catastrophically impacted by a media hungry to accept uncritically any leftist partisan narrative, no matter how obviously fabricated. This media malpractice has harmed our country profoundly. Will there be any media self-reflection, or at least criticism of Clinton and Biden for their longstanding weakness toward Russia? Don’t count on it.

The Warning - Testimonies and Prophecies of the Illumination of Conscience

The Warning - Testimonies and Prophecies of the Illumination of Conscience
This highly acclaimed and captivating book offers the world the most thorough understanding to date of “the Warning,” or “the Illumination of Conscience”—a critical moment in human history when every person alive will see their soul in the light of divine truth—including fascinating stories of those who have already experienced it for themselves. “Christine Watkins has done a tremendous work…invaluable and timely” says Mark Mallet. Bishop Gavin Ashenden, Chaplain to the Queen of England (2008-2017) comments in his foreword to the book, “I devoured it, unable to put it down.”…“Inspirational…I highly recommend it,” says Fr. John Struzzo. Monsignor Ralph J. Chieffo urges, “Read this prophetic book and believe,” Dr. Mark Miravalle writes, “THE WARNING should be widely read and discerned seriously with an open mind,” and Fr. Bernardin Mugabo makes the heartfelt appeal, “I wish everyone would read this!” Bishop Ashenden, begins his foreword with, “Every so often a book falls into one’s hands that is particularly powerful in unveiling the mystery and power of God’s purpose for his Church today, and this is one such. If you are wondering whether or not you should take the time to read it, let me strongly encourage you to do so.” The prophecies of the Warning, as outlined and illustrated in this book, have come to us through saints and mystics, including St. Pope Pius IX, St. Pope Paul VI, St. Faustina Kowalska, Blessed Anna Maria Taigi, and Servant of God, Maria Esperanza. Some of these spiritual luminaries are still alive, such as exorcist, mystic, and Superior General, Fr. Michel Rodrigue; stigmatist and mystic, Janie Garza; and founder of the Dynamic Catholic Institute, Matthew Kelly. Not only does THE WARNING substantiate an event of monumental importance, which appears to be on the horizon of time, but also carries the reader through compelling testimonies of those who have already experienced it personally and against their will. The book culminates in the spell-binding story of Marino Restrepo, hailed as a St. Paul for our century. Formerly a well-to-do Hollywood music producer who sank into serious sin and the New Age movement, he endured a torturous kidnapping by Colombian guerilla rebels for over half a year, during which he experienced an illumination of conscience. In addition, he received a unique gift of infused knowledge of divine matters, which he has been sharing with the world since 1999 in his world-wide, bishop-approved apostolate. And his is only one of the stories. . . The prophecies and testimonies of the Illumination of Conscience promise to astound, entertain, challenge, and prepare those who read this book and who believe. Postgate - Washington Post Watergate Coverup

Postgate - Washington Post Watergate Coverup
Postgate: How the Washington Post Betrayed Deep Throat, Covered Up Watergate, and Began Today's Partisan Advocacy Journalism By John O'Connor MEDIA ANALYST/AUTHOR: John O'Connor, Postgate: How the Washington Post Betrayed Deep Throat, Covered Up Watergate, and Began Today's Partisan Advocacy Journalism. He served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in Northern California from 1974-1979, representing the United States in both criminal and civil cases. The Trump administration made a “declaration of war on the House over the impeachment inquiry” on Tuesday in a letter from White House Counsel Pat. A Cipollone, who told House Democrats that the president would not comply with their “illegitimate proceedings. ”In a statement, White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham wrote: “The President has done nothing wrong, and the Democrats know it. For purely political reasons, the Democrats have decided their desire to overturn the outcome of the 2016 election allows them to conduct a so-called impeachment inquiry that ignores the fundamental rights guaranteed to every American. These partisan proceedings are an affront to the Constitution—as they are being held behind closed doors and deny the President the right to call witnesses, to cross-examine witnesses, to have access to evidence, and many other basic rights.” Included with Grisham’s statement was the letter from Cipollone that dismantled many of the claims made by Democrat leaders in recent weeks and seriously damaged the credibility of their unofficial impeachment inquiry. Deep Throat’s lawyer discovers the Washington Post betrayed his client—while covering up the real truth about the Watergate scandal The conventional wisdom of Watergate is turned on its head by Postgate, revealing that the Post did not uncover Watergate as much as it covered it up. The Nixon Administration, itself involved in a coverup, was the victim of a journalistic smoke-screen that prevented mitigation of its criminal guilt. As a result of the paper’s successful misdirection, today’s strikingly deceptive partisan journalism can be laid at the doorstep of the Washington Post. After Deep Throat’s lawyer, author John O’Connor, discovered that the Post had betrayed his client while covering up the truth about Watergate, his indefatigable research resulted in Postgate, a profoundly shocking tale of journalistic deceit. In an era when numerous modern media outlets rail about the guilt of their political enemies for speaking untruths, Postgate proves that the media can often credibly be viewed as the party actually guilty of deception. Americans today mistrust the major media more than ever. Postgate will prove that this distrust is richly deserved. BIO: John O’Connor is an experienced trial lawyer, practicing law in San Francisco since 1972. He has tried cases in state and federal court throughout the country. He served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in Northern California from 1974-1979, representing the United States in both criminal and civil cases. Among his interesting assignments have been representation of the government during the OPEC oil embargo of the 1970s; writing Fifth Amendment and “state of mind” briefs for the prosecution in United States v. Patricia Hearst; representing the FDIC, FSLC and RTC during the savings and loan crisis of the late 1980s and early 1990s; representing California Attorney General Dan Lungren in campaign-related litigation; defending R.J. Reynolds Tobacco in significant smoking and health litigation; representing Coach Don Nelson in litigation with Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban; and representing W. Mark Felt regarding the revelation of his identity as Deep Throat. WEBSITE: FACEBOOK: ON CNN:

A Conversation with Leadership Coach, Ms. Denise Green

A Conversation with Leadership Coach, Ms. Denise Green
4 Achievable Steps for Turning Burnout into Brilliance By Denise R. Green Stress is eroding the lives of too many of today's professionals. A by the Mayo Clinic identified the traits associated with workplace stress and burnout, including emotional exhaustion, bitter cynicism, a plummeting sense of accomplishment and "a tendency to view people as objects rather than as human beings." Whether you suffer from all these symptoms or just one or two, know that life doesn't have to be this way. We're all born with a spark, and then life piles on. But it's possible to clear off the muck so you can shine brilliantly again. Brilliance occurs when you feel a sense of freedom and agency over your life -- ease instead of struggle, and freedom instead of feeling trapped in a toxic body, relationship, thought pattern or job. Brilliance is the opposite of burned out, and a serious upgrade from blah. Through incremental and attainable steps, you can reignite that flame within you that has dimmed over the years. Consider what brilliance can mean across different areas of your life -- your mind, your body, your relationships with others and your relationship with technology. For example, your mind and inner world are brilliant when you feel a sense of ease, gratitude and confidence. Your body attains brilliance when you feel strong, grounded, energized and rested; when you have relationships that are full of ease, trust and curiosity; and when you have strong boundaries around your use of technology. Use these four achievable steps to turn your stress around, and to find your way back to a brilliant life that shines with purpose and fulfillment. Tame your thoughts.Getting hooked on emotionally charged narratives of anger, resentment, guilt or fear can have devastating consequences for your physical and mental well-being, affecting your emotional and physiological circuitry in powerful ways. Upgrade your thoughts by noticing when you think the original painful thought. Catch yourself thinking, and replace the painful thought with an upgraded belief that brings relief and prompts better actions. Repeat the new belief over and over until it becomes an embedded belief. Use daily routines as cues to remember to repeat your upgraded thought, like brushing teeth or before entering a meeting. In this way, you become the director of your life, empowered to change the script (and ending), rather than a mere actor performing at the whim of your brain's habitual thinking. Exude authentic confidence.Truly confident people exude both warmth and strength. Aligning your outward appearance and actions with who and how you want to be in the world can improve your self-perception, as well as other's perceptions of you. You can make changes to improve your confidence almost instantly: get a great haircut, improve how you dress, make eye contact, smile, stand and sit with good posture and keep your chin level with the floor. Changes to your physiology can take more time and effort, such as losing weight and feeling rested and alert. Exercising with weights or boxing will eventually create physical strength and a sense of empowerment that will carry over into your interactions. Nurture brilliant relationships.Toxic encounters switch on your sympathetic nervous system, putting your brain in a threat state where you're less able to access your "intelligent" brain, the prefrontal cortex. To live a brilliant life, you must attract and nourish relationships that make you happy, healthy and more effective in your life. You need people who make you laugh, who pick you up on a bad day and who remind you of your brilliance. If you're unhappy with your relationships, what qualities do you need to improve in yourself to build and sustain brilliant relationships? Do you need to be more appreciative? A better listener? More forgiving? Do you need to seek out new friends in places you like to frequent, like coffee shops or workout classes? Take steps to improve your relationships and connect with positive people. You can start by telling people how much you value them. Manage your relationship with technology. Most of us don't use technology as much as we let it use us. Technology has created a "constantly on" environment where we actually have less free time. It takes incredible willpower to resist our screens, but our addiction to technology and our mobile devices allows us less space to just be. It also zaps our productivity. If you want to have productive, fulfilling days, you must mindfully choose not to fall into the social media or news and entertainment rabbit hole. Turn off sound notifications, leave your phone behind in meetings and choose face-to-face conversations whenever possible. Remember this about brilliance: It's not a destination you reach and then set up camp. It's more like a journey with unpredictable twists and turns. It's easy to fall off the path, but with attention and shifting, you can find your way back again. * * * Denise R. Interview with Emotional Intelligence expert, Dr. Steven J. Stein
4 Emotional Intelligence Skills to Transform Your Leadership Style By Steven Stein, Ph.D. In today's work settings, many of the old-style hierarchical and authoritarian styles of leadership have become obsolete. We’ve witnessed significant strides in replacing rewards-punishment "transactional" management styles -- that have mostly proven unproductive -- with "transformative styles" in which organizational leaders inspire their teams to achieve a collective purpose. And yet we're still in the transition zone where we need more leaders equipped with the skills that combine interpersonal abilities, including empathy and trust, with the capacity to model creative problem solving when faced with tough situations. We refer to this skill set as Emotional Intelligence, or EI. The awareness that EI is an important job skill -- in some cases even surpassing technical ability -- has grown in recent years. In simple terms, EI is the ability to identify and manage emotional information in oneself and in others. But, we continue to experience a scarcity of this new brand of leadership talent. According to a by Deloitte, leadership was rated the most urgent concern when considering gaps in workforce readiness. Why haven't we done a better job of cultivating emerging leaders? One reason is that we continue to mistakenly believe good technical or sales skills translate to good management skills. The thinking seems to be: if they excel at analyzing, fixing, selling and so on, then they can likely lead others to excel as well. But these skills and competencies have little to do with being a good leader. Another erroneous standard of leadership talent is mistakenly assuming that high IQ is a predictor of leadership strength. While it's likely that leaders have higher IQs than followers, the qualities that make up strong leaders go far beyond one's cognitive intelligence. Finally, choosing leaders based on personality remains widespread. Characteristics such as aggressiveness and extroversion, that tend to stand out in job candidates, don't always correlate with self-awareness, flexibility and influencing others. The forceful leaders may be good at giving orders, but that doesn’t always translate into inspiring subordinates into action. The traits that new bodies of research confirm as the most effective in improving workplace morale -- and the bottom line -- directly relate to qualities associated with EI. After gleaning from the largest database of EI test scores in the world, researchers have identified four pillars of EI that form the foundation of competencies needed to buttress today's business world for success now and into the future. The good news is that EI traits can be cultivated and improved. Practice these four pillars of EI to transform your personal and organizational leadership style: Express authenticity on every level.Acting without integrity can be the kiss of death in today's world. Today's best leaders must be viewed as credible, fair and "real." Bombastic, arrogant and dominating people are out. For today's leaders, humility is a strength. People will respect you more and go the extra mile if they think you are real. Coach others to realize their full potential.Today's more equitable workplaces run on collaboration and mentoring, not policing. The best leaders coach their teams through tactics as simple as "management by walking around" and one-on-one meetings where they listen to employees' concerns, offer feedback and guidance and take responsibility for removing any roadblocks. Communicate the organization's mission in a way that inspires employees, suppliers and customers.More and more companies are realizing they are not in business just to make money or produce a product. Developing a sense of higher purpose (for example, Google's mission is "to organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful") heightens engagement and motivation for employees and other stakeholders, which helps attract and retain the right people. Insightful leaders communicate a purpose, meaning and vision, and express a hopeful view of the future. Encourage innovation and risk-taking.More success will accrue to organizations that encourage their employees to think creatively and champion new ideas. That doesn't mean everyone gets their own R&D budget, but it does require that leaders give their people more autonomy and license to explore changing customer needs and provide a fair, safe and encouraging hearing when employees propose new ideas. They also need to be understanding when new, risky ideas don't succeed. Innovative leaders spur imaginative and autonomous thinking and see challenges as learning opportunities. * * * Steven Stein, Ph.D., is a leading expert on psychological assessment and emotional intelligence.
