From Reality TV to Real Faith - Lydia Mclaughlin on Nobody Cares with Andre Huseman
In this episode, Lydia dives into her journey of faith, her marriage to Doug, and how her Christian beliefs have influenced her life and career. Lydia shares that she was raised in a unique household where her parents had different religious backgrounds. Her mom came from an Italian Catholic background while her dad embraced Eastern philosophies, including beliefs in reincarnation. Growing up, Lydia was exposed to various faiths and was always intrigued by the idea of spirituality. In college, Lydia studied theology and became even more fascinated by religion and faith. She shares that she was drawn to Christianity through a youth group called Young Life. Initially, she attended because she had a crush on someone there, but she soon found herself genuinely interested in the teachings of Jesus. She attended a camp that summer and made a personal commitment to follow God. When Lydia met Doug, she discovered that they both shared the same Christian faith, despite their different upbringings. Lydia's family had a more liberal perspective, while Doug's family had a conservative background. They navigated their different backgrounds and found common ground in their shared faith. Lydia emphasizes the importance of her faith in her life. She believes that without it, she wouldn't have achieved what she has today. She sees her success, her loving marriage, and her overall fulfillment as blessings from God. Lydia also discusses the significance of relying on God during difficult times, such as when her mother fell seriously ill. Despite facing challenges, Lydia finds joy and peace in her relationship with God. In addition to her reality TV career, Lydia recently wrote a book called "Joyful," which focuses on finding joy in life. She mentions that writing the book was a challenging experience because it coincided with her mother's illness. However, she believes that joy comes from within and doesn't solely rely on external circumstances. The conversation takes a turn as Lydia reflects on her time on "The Real Housewives of Orange County." She explains that her first season had an all-star cast and she thoroughly enjoyed the experience. However, when she returned for the twelfth season, some cast members had changed, and tensions were higher. Lydia notes that the conflicts shown on the show are often fueled by deeper personal issues that cannot be fully disclosed. Lydia concludes the episode by expressing her belief that her purpose is to be a light and spread positivity. She believes in using her platform to share her faith and encourage others to explore their own spirituality. Overall, Lydia McLaughlin's podcast episode offers an intimate look into her faith journey and how it has impacted her life. It highlights the importance of finding spiritual grounding and seeking joy amidst life's challenges. #RealityTVStar #RealHousewives #FaithJourney #Christianity #Faith #FindingPurpose #OvercomingTrials #JoyfulLiving #SpiritualConviction #PositiveOutlook #BuildingRelationships #UnpackingFaith #TVDrama #LifeLessons #rhoc #realhousewivesoforangecounty #LydiaMcLaughlin #AndreHuseman #nobodycarespodcast #NewportBeach #BOXHAUS #noblemen #noblemanmagazine #nobleman #nobu #nobumagazine #NB #orangecounty #OC

From Sweat Equity to Success - Cayla Craft on Nobody Cares with Andre Huseman
Cayla Craft's journey in entrepreneurship is one that's sure to inspire many. From working as a nurse to becoming a millionaire in network marketing, she's had quite the ride. But what's even more impressive is her willingness to pivot and try new things, even when she's successful at what she's doing. Cayla's story begins with the birth of her first child. She realized that she wanted something different for her life than working 12-hour shifts as a nurse. So, she turned to network marketing, a field she had dabbled in before. And guess what? She became a millionaire in just a couple of years! But here's where the story gets interesting. Despite her success, Cayla wasn't happy with the way she had made her money. So, she decided to try something new. Cayla knew she liked sales, marketing, networking, and helping people. So, she started coaching people on their businesses, specifically in social media. This was back in 2013, when organic reach was still a thing, and people were just starting to understand the importance of personal branding. Cayla got good at teaching people how to figure out their personal brand and display it to the world. And guess what? She impacted a lot of people's lives along the way. But let's be real here: entrepreneurship isn't easy. Cayla is quick to remind us that you don't make money in the beginning with any business. You've got to be willing to put in some Sweat Equity and not see anything in return for a while. And if you're already counting the days, you're going to miss the hours. In other words, if you're not committed to the journey, you might as well go get a job. Not everyone is meant to be an entrepreneur, and that's okay. Cayla's journey had its challenges, too. Her identity was so wrapped up in being a nurse that it was hard for her to let go of that and embrace something new. But she did it, and she's thriving. So, what's the moral of the story? If you're not happy with where you're at, try something new. And if you're committed to the journey, the dash in the middle, that's where the growth happens. Don't rush to get to 60; enjoy the ride along the way. And most importantly, don't be afraid to put in the work and sweat equity that it takes to build a successful business. #sweatequity #freework #businesscoach #entrepreneur #craftedentrepreneur #caylacraft #nobodycares #podcast #andrehuseman #newportbeach #california #mindset

Becoming an Instant Mom, Dealing with Miscarriage & Making an Impact - Terra Picket on Nobody Cares with Andre Huseman

Becoming an Instant Mom, Dealing with Miscarriage & Making an Impact - Terra Picket on Nobody Cares with Andre Huseman
So I met Terra about 11 years ago at a fight gym I was working at; come to find out we also had some mutual friends. We’ve followed each others lives over the years on social media and I watched her get married and become a mother of two instantly. The biggest smile you’ve ever seen. I’ll be honest…this was a hard story to be in front of. This one hit me and I’m taking a piece of this with me. I have a deep sense of empathy for Terra and what she’s been through. Terra was just a few days shy of her scheduled induction day when she noticed something unusual. It was 4 PM, and she realized that she couldn't feel the baby moving. Initially, she wasn't too concerned since she had a kick count schedule for later. However, she couldn't feel anything when she pressed her stomach, and it made her worry. At this point, Terra's husband didn't think it was a big deal and suggested that she get some orange juice. He even ordered her favorite cheesecake. Terra tried pushing her stomach, but she still couldn't feel anything. So, she called her local hospital to seek medical attention. The hospital advised her to come in, and Terra packed her bags and car seat just in case. When she got to the hospital, the staff took her to the triage and did all the routine checks. However, when they put the monitor on, Terra saw the technician's face change because there was no heartbeat. At this moment, Terra was in full shock, and it was the worst moment of her life. She called her husband hysterical, and when she saw him, she just cried. The doctors went into a meeting, and Terra felt that they didn't give her time to process before moving on to the next steps. From a health perspective, there were always risks of infections, and they had to deliver the baby. Terra initially thought that she would have a C-section since she didn't want to go through another 18-hour labor. However, the doctor advised that delivering the baby vaginally would be better since a C-section would be more complicated. The labor was intense, and Terra remembered that she was thinking about all the things that she would do with her baby once they were home. Unfortunately, she never got to experience that. Losing a child is a traumatic experience, and it can take a while to come to terms with it. However, Terra had a supportive family that helped her through the process. She also started seeing a therapist to help her cope with the loss. Terra's story shows that life can be unpredictable, and sometimes things don't go according to plan. Losing a child is never easy, but it's essential to seek support and know that it's okay not to be okay. It's crucial to talk to someone, seek professional help, and take all the time you need to heal. Terra's story is a reminder that we should cherish every moment with our loved ones because life is precious. #miscarriage #pregnancyloss #miscarriagesupport #pregnancylosssupport #miscarriageawareness #griefsupport #stillbornsupport #miscarriagehealing #pregnancylosshealing #miscarriagecommunity #infantlossawareness #miscarriagesurvivor #tryingtoconceive #ttcjourney #pregnancyafterloss #rainbowbaby #bereavement #pregnancylossremembrance #miscarriagejourney
