Conversations of Christ
In this conversation with Jacquie Carter and Laura Eyi, we talk about daughter disciples in the scripture that have taught us more about our relationship with Christ. Seeing ourselves in the shoes of these women can help us better understand our divine identity and the deep love and concern our Savior has for us. We also talk about connecting our divine identity with our daily living. We can create intention each day to live aligned with what we value most. The scriptures teach us that God speaks to us in our own language, according to our own understanding. I think that when we understand the significance that God speaks so individually to us, according to how we will best understand and hear him, it can help us see how personal and intimate our relationship with God can be. God knows you that perfectly. God speaks your language. In this episode, I share how I have come to better hear how God speaks to me through prayer journaling. This was originally recorded as a bonus class in the 40-day Journey with Christ meditation...

“Charity is the principal characteristic of a true follower of Jesus Christ. Charity defines a peacemaker. When we humble ourselves before God and pray with all the energy of our hearts, God will grant us charity.” (President Russell M. Nelson) Join me with Laura and Joanna as we talk about being peacemakers through seeing others deeply, listening and communicating with love, and share examples of those who have created peace in hard situations.

This episode includes a ~7-minute Christ-centered, self-compassion meditation. It provides a guide to creating a kind and loving personal narrative you can use to help process through difficult thoughts, emotions, and experiences to cultivate greater inner peace. Creating a safe, kind relationship with ourselves allows us to better show up in the other parts of our life...

Join me in this episode as we talk about the powerful ability women have to create peace and that we receive the grace to do so from our Maker. "Charity, or the pure love of Christ, is motherhood in a very practical and real way...My mother-work will come directly through the whispers of the Holy Spirit. And it is no less real for being unrelated by blood and bone.” (Sharon Eubank) This “mother work” as Sharon put it, and as we saw in the example of Deborah, is bearing with others and nurturing them in God. It’s being yourself and holding up your unique light with courage, it’s...
info_outlineThere is power in finding commonality and community with women of faith. Whether face-to-face, in sacred text, or in the pages of a book. Hope, healing, and answers come as we find ourselves in their stories.
In this episode, host Ashley Marchant shares with you a few pieces of her personal journey that's lead to the creation of Conversations of Christ. From gathering together and sharing stories of faith with other women to diving into the scriptures with questions she was desperately seeking answers to. Ashley discusses how learning and sharing stories of faith help to deepen our roots and widen our branches, helping us grow and bear fruit for others to partake of and be strengthened in their own journeys.
Season 1 of the podcast will be focused on seeing Christ through the eyes of His daughter disciples. Each month, we will dive into the written Word to learn about a Woman in the Scripture’s life and where they found Christ in their stories. The episode that follows will be a small group or one-on-one conversation where we discover parallel experiences with Christ in our own lives.
Our purpose with Conversations of Christ is threefold: first, to get clear on our purpose and identity soul deep; second, to learn to draw Christ’s healing and strengthening power more fully into our lives; and third to practice seeing God, ourselves and others deeply, enabling connection and desired change.
