CRYING IN MY CAR: A PODCAST FOR TEACHERS
The newest addition to the Bored Teachers Podcast Network, Crying in My Car is a weekly breath of fresh air to help teachers get through class without pulling their hair out or the hair of several students. No pedagogy here, just pure hilarity! Segments include Story Time, Teachers in the News Not Touching Kids, a weekly Top 5 and more endless comedy from comedians Devin Siebold from Bored Teachers and James Yon from The Lowdown on Comcast's AfroTV. Hear the perspective from both the educator side and the parent side of things while laughing uncontrollably until you cry... in your car (or not in your car, it doesn't really matter to us.)
COME AT ME BREW
We're three friends who wanted an excuse to hang out more and drink beers. Every week we're going to review a few beers, make some bad attempts at humor, and talk about what's going on in our beer world. We hope you listen, laugh, and learn something as we go through this beer excursion together.
THE TAROTBULL PODCAST
The Tarotbull podcast is a conversation between two friends about tarot cards. Every week co-hosts Brandon and Ashley look at two different cards, one Major Arcana, and one Minor Arcana card. They discuss initial thoughts, symbology, historical significance and color interpretation depicted in the image of the card before moving on to how the card would be interpreted in various types of readings. This duo has also delved into the significance of numerology, discussing personality traits associated with various numbers and how they tie into the cards themselves. Not sticking to only one interpretation, they finish each episode looking at the same cards depicted in a different deck. The name on the card might be the same, or similar, but the image can invoke different thoughts and feelings for the reader. Brandon and Ashley met about ten years ago in Connecticut. Through a series of events, they have reconnected ten years later and started talking about the tarot. Brandon came up with the brilliant idea to start a podcast where both of the hosts can explore various cards together while at the same time traversing their own individual tarot and life journeys. The pair often bring up the concept of balance in the yin and the yang and they are a great reflection of this. Ashley seems to provide the emotional, intuitive, feminine energy while saying hilarious one-liners. Brandon provides the stoic, insightful, realist approach to the cards and wants to constantly bring up the Lord of the Rings trilogy despite knowing Ashley is totally clueless. Their funny, yet insightful, banter provides the perfect backdrop for the sometimes serious topics of love, loss, and life.
