Once again I have the pleasure of sitting down with my Son Steven and having an open discussion. This time we will be talking about new Journeys and how to respond to people who maybe stepping out into theirs. Many of us have stepped into new seasons in our lives at one point or another. Some can be exciting and some a little scary. The nice part is when we keep God first in all things; the journey will go a lot smoother. My wife and I have also stepped into a new season and are very excited to see how God’s plan unfolds in our lives, and my son and his wife have just completed 6 years in the Airforce and are also stepping into their new Journey. My prayer is that you will be encouraged, inspired and maybe even open to some ways to treat others that you may come in contact with who are also stepping into a new season. Also keep in mind be careful who you share your ideas, and plans with because everyone will not be supportive, sadly it may be due to jealousy, lack of knowledge and even the fact that sometime people just don’t like to see change. Share your plans and ideas with people who resemble Jesus Christ because at the end of the day they will receive you in love and resemble the traits in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7:
4 Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud 5 or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. 6 It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. 7 Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.
