info_outlineSome clients are known to be better candidates for microblading than others but, does that mean that you should automatically refrain from offering it to clients who traditionally heal less than perfect? Nneka Garel Portes weighs in on microblading for women of color, those of African descent and Fitzpatrick 5+.
Nneka is the owner of @colorlabnyc. She has spent the last several years sharpening her esthetics skills and laser focusing on the semi-permanent market; specifically Microblading and Ombre Brows. With so many women looking to jump into the semi-permanent makeup industry as a way to leave their desk jobs behind, Nneka found they were being lured into trainings that were subpar and not preparing students for real life application. Her philosophy is: "provide the foundation and the tools need to get the work done right the first time."
