What A Creep: "Rock & Roll Creeps" (Season 4, Episode 1)

What a Creep

Release Date: 01/03/2020

What a Creep: Reverend Jim Jones What a Creep: Reverend Jim Jones "The Jonestown Massacre" (Season 5, Episode 5)

What a Creep

Margo leads the discussion this week talking about a cult Creep--the Reverend Jim Jones who caused the deaths of over 900 people in Jonestown, Guyana in 1978. Jim began his career as a pastor from Indiana who believed in social justice. He eventually morphed into a despot who caused the ruin of countless lives and is the origin story for the expression “drank the Kool-Aid.”

What a Creep: What a Creep: "The Houston Astros" (Season 5, Episode 4)

What a Creep

Here’s the pitch: In the 2017 season, the Houston Astros used TV cameras to steal signs from opposing team’s catchers, and communicate the signs to their hitters in real-time by banging on a trash can. It sounds kinda stupid, but it’s a big deal. The Houston Astros won the World Series in 2017, due in no small part to their cheating.

What a Creep: What a Creep: "Creepy March Madness" Bonus Ep

What a Creep

Margo & Sonia are social distancing while digging up Creeps and we realized that we had so much recent news to discuss, that we should create a bonus ep for everyone to enjoy. It also gives you an idea of our Patreon bonus eps. (In case you are interested in subscribing to our Patreon page!)

What a Creep: Louis B. Mayer (Founder of MGM Pictures) Season 5, Episode 2 show art What a Creep: Louis B. Mayer (Founder of MGM Pictures) Season 5, Episode 2

What a Creep

Margo & Sonia are going back in time to talk about an old-school Hollywood Creep--Louis B. Mayer. He harassed women, ruined careers, helped to cover up crimes, and refused to say anything against Hitler in 1939. But wow--his motion pictures were great!

What a Creep: What a Creep: "Movie Creeps" (Season 5, Episode 1)

What a Creep

It’s the start of a new season and we have a whole bunch of Creeps to feature so we decided to start with this fun episode of fictional creeps and creepy moments in movies we used to love. What are some of your favorite movie creeps? What movies are unintentionally creepy to you? Let us know in the comments below or on social media!

What a Creep: Alfred Hitchcock (Old-School Hollywood Creep) show art What a Creep: Alfred Hitchcock (Old-School Hollywood Creep)

What a Creep

Alfred Hitchcock (1899-1980) was the master of suspense, the creator of some of the best (and scariest) films of all time, a famous director and, at times, a world-class creep. (Ask Tippi Hedren!) In this episode we talk about his childhood, how he became the legend we all still talk about 40 years after his death and discuss some of his best films and his worst behavior. Enjoy!

What a Creep: Gary Glitter (Season 4, Episode 9) show art What a Creep: Gary Glitter (Season 4, Episode 9)

What a Creep

If you don’t know the name Gary Glitter, you’ve definitely heard his songs. His most popular songs are “Rock and Roll (Parts 1 and 2),” and they are used at sporting events and featured in movies all the time. It was most recently featured in the staircase dancing scene in “Joker.” He is a convicted pedophile and is in jail where deserves to be.

What A Creep: Bernie Madoff (Season 4, Episode 8) show art What A Creep: Bernie Madoff (Season 4, Episode 8)

What a Creep

This week’s Creep has the distinction of running the most expensive Ponzi scheme of all time. His name is Bernie Madoff and he ripped off thousands of people to the tune of over $65 billion and has shown little remorse. Margo tells the story this week and then Sonia talks about a billion who is (most likely) not a Creep. Enjoy!

What A Creep; Max Landis (Season 4, Episode 7) show art What A Creep; Max Landis (Season 4, Episode 7)

What a Creep

Max Landis is known for writing a bunch of movies you’ve probably never seen like “Chronicle,” “American Ultra,” and “Bright.” But that’s not why Max Landis is a creep. On top of being the son of a famous director and a middling talent himself, Max Landis is also known as a rapist, gaslighter, body shamer, and a physical and psychological abuser.

What a Creep: Vince McMahon What a Creep: Vince McMahon "WWE" (Season 4, Episode 6)

What a Creep

Our Creep this week is one of the most successful entrepreneurs in the history of sports.  Vince McMahon is the Chairman and CEO of the WWE as well as the founder of the soon-to-be relaunched XFL. Vince is unique and one of the most recognizable CEOs in the media. He is also a total creep, asshole, and weirdo--one of the most despised people in the history of wrestling—which is saying something!

Rock & Roll Creeps

Hello everyone!

Margo & Sonia are in the mood to rock & roll all night and party every day with this rock-themed episode of musicians behaving very badly. This episode is a little different because instead of focusing on one person--we are taking turns with different bands who have very problematic bandmates. We also get into who is into really young girls before we talk about our NON-Creep.

Some of the bands and people we discuss in this show: The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Motley Crue, Elvis Presley, Steven Tyler,  and Guns & Roses. Get your Bic lighters ready and we will rock and roll this place!
