Show Notes One thing I find about my life today… I live in a world of distractions. I may have plans for the day, but other stuff just seems to come up. That’s when I make a phone call to my “go-to” thinkers who also love to ponder challenging topics. Of course I almost always put in a call to my friend Terry Hershey. And then when it comes to deep-thinking my “go-to” will always be the ever-so brilliant Lindsay Davis....

In his new book, The Time Optimized Life, our guest David Buck writes… “Retirement usually represents a significant change in lifestyle. However, much less focus is placed on how one lives and the time when they choose to spend these resources. “The transition to this new life can...

info_outlineShow Notes
Today I am excited to have with us once again my personal life coach, Dena Crowder. Dena is amazing! After working together for two years now, I can’t think of anyone that has impacted my life the ways Dena Crowder has. Her wisdom and insight equals that of sages.
Now… the last time Dena was on the show we talked about dealing with our Inner Critic. Well, today we are taking the opposite direction and talking about our Inner Power and how our Inner Power Craves Purpose. I can’t wait to get into the subject. In fact, it was the topic of our last enormously impactful coaching session. I have so much to learn from Dena.
For those of you that don’t know, Dena Crowder is a High-Performance Strategist and Chief Spiritual Officer for creators and leaders. She has designed innovative programs for prison parolees, judges associations, CEOs, CNN heroes, Emmy and Grammy winners, as well as executives at many organizations the likes of which include Nike, Disney, Nestle, and Fox.
In addition, most recently Dena had the rare honor to give a presentation at a TED X conference that was highly received with a standing ovation. Her topic, naturally, was on Power.
In fact, Dena is on a mission to revolutionize the way the world understands and relates to Power. Her aim is to Redefine Power so that we use it for good. Dena believes—and I love this—that "Pure Power" is the capacity to directly influence and manage your life… with wisdom and compassion. If only… it’s all about “Power To” and not “Power Over.”
