Mark 9:14-29 (Pastor William Con) Big Gospel Idea: Weak faith is faith in misery. Faith in Jesus leads to transformation. So many of us run to so many other things rather than Jesus. When life gets hard we abandon prayer, trusting Jesus and relying on God to make our way through life. Instead we turn to in-fighting, frustration and despair. When life gets hard we must continually lean on Jesus rather than ourselves. We must develop a strong faith instead of maintaining a week faith. And that faith must inform our actions.

Mark 9:1-13 (Pastor William) BGI: Look to Jesus, Be Encouraged by the Signs So many of us are wondering if we're on the right path. info_outlineThe Polarity of Wealth - Pastor William
Chasing Carrots Series
BGI: Following biblical wisdom and the leading of the Holy Spirit, we are called to develop a theology of wealth that is sound and balanced.
Pastor Will looks at what a polarity is and seven key ideas the bible holds when talking about wealth. With no straight-forward thought on how much money one should have? What are the theological keys to managing this polarity?
- Jesus' generosity is a model for our own generosity
- God may give excess to some to share with others who have less
- Treasures in heaven are greater than treasures on earth
- Look to God, not money, as our source of security and significance
- Wealth building is wise
- God gives us richly all things to enjoy
- We must look the the Holy Spirit to guide us
