Maxwell is infamous at this time for her association with Jeffrey Epstein, and is currently awaiting trial for charges against her involving sex trafficking and conspiracy. After watching the docuseries "Filthy Rich" on Netflix, there is a lot to discuss about her case and involvement.

Today we journey to Madagascar, in the early 1800’s at a time when the country was being increasingly fought over by France and Britain. From what I’ve been able to tell, her story is one that’s hard to find the truth on because it’s been so exaggerated and twisted by history. I’ll give my final opinion at the end, but in most of these stories Ranavalona ranges from being literally the most evil and terrible person in the world, to a hardline ruler and borderline despot.

Gesche Gottfried is our murderess of the week, keeping with the theme of caretakers who poison and kill those who are under their care. Gottfried had killed anywhere between 16-30 people using arsenic between the years of 1813-1826, and was the last person to be publicly executed in Bremen, Germany.

Our murderess of the week was described as being sweet, charismatic, and a downright saint. At least, until she was caught and admitted to murdering anywhere between 30-100 people. This week, we're talking about "Jolly" Jane Toppan, who used her profession as a nurse to get her hands on opiates and sedatives that she would use is a deadly cocktail mix on her victims.

Our next murderess in our Christmas countdown is Michele Anderson, a family annihilator who murdered six members of her family the night before Christmas along with her boyfriend. Together, they murdered six people, killing essentially 3 generations of Michele's family.
