Today's video reflects on the solemnity of the Nativity of John the Baptist and the challenge his famous words, "I must decrease so that He [Christ] might increase." The challenge this offers then is to think about in what ways we need to decrease so that the Lord may increase in our lives? Perhaps there are habits or some struggle in our life that we need help setting aside for the sake of Christ?
St. John the Baptist, help us die to ourselves, decreasing ourselves so that Christ might increase!
St. John the Baptist, pray for us.
St. Mary Magdalene, pray for us.
