Inquiry is a practice of self-realization whereby we explore what is at the root of our suffering, our mind. When we are willing to look at, question and see the results of our thinking, we can find an end to our suffering. This is freedom. You can find...
info_outlineThe Window of Tolerance(WOT) was created by Dr. Dan Siegel as the optimal zone in which a person would be able to function and deal with day-to-day stress most effectively. It is the optimal arousal state in which we feel our emotions are tolerable and we can manage the experience we are in. When our nervous system gets activated and our brain goes into survival mode and we will often go outside of our WOT to either a hyper-arousal state (anxiety, irritable, overwhelmed) or a hypo-arousal state (shut down, withdraw, disengage). But we can get ourselves back to our optimal zone. Listen and find out how!
