Episode 048 - Walkabout, Brief Encounter and Easy Rider

The Stinking Pause Podcast

Release Date: 08/01/2015

We’re back…after a short break, Scott and Charlie return to review three more classic movies.

Charlie’s choice for this episode is from 1969 and is Easy Rider, directed by Dennis Hopper and starring Peter Fonda and Jack Nicholson.

Scott has selected the Nicholas Roeg directed Walkabout from 1971, starring Jenny Agutter.

We also celebrate the 70th anniversary of Brief Encounter, directed by David Lean and starring Trevor Howard and Celia Johnson. To help us with this we have enlisted the help of our dear friend Adam from the Attaboy Clarence and Secret History of Hollywood podcasts. Thank you sir, you are a star!

“I love you, Laura. I shall love you always until the end of my life. I can't look at you now cause I know something. I know that this is the beginning of the end. Not the end of my loving you but the end of our being together. But not quite yet, darling. Please. Not quite yet.”
