The Sound of Healing show art The Sound of Healing

The Robert Wesley Branch Show

This is the story of the sound of healing. When you have ears that hear, what they hear (from the Spirit) is Holy Sound – a frequency, a wavelength, a vibration that is outside of the Matrix. To get there (and to dwell there continually) is an art form and a spiritual practice. Meditation is a gateway; this is how you access Holy Sound: in silence. [TRWBS #258 – University of Success VI: How to Accept the Challenge of Success – April 20, 2019.]

Featuring the music of Gregory Porter, this conversation is all about the spirituality of love. I open the show with “God, what will make me happy?” – a question I asked the Creator in my meditation time. And the Creator answered me, saying: “Detach from the illusion of unhappiness and you will always be happy.” I am sharing on the Buddhist teachings “The Four Noble Truths” and “The Eightfold Path.” In our second hour, Michele interviews Dr. Cari Jackson, founding director of the Center for Spiritual Light and author of “Love Like You’ve Never Been Hurt.” Dr. Jackson shares with us this profound teaching: when someone loves you, it’s primarily about them, not you; that feeling of love they have for you is their “inside job.” Conversely, when someone hates or dislikes you, that too is primarily about them, not you. Dr. Jackson then goes on to  teach about how to hold a healthy narrative for yourself while being caught up in the rapture of love with someone else. In our third hour, Dante Bonner leads a discussion about three aspects of love: love of self, love from others, and love from the Divine. After that, Dwayne V. Wiggins Jr. shares his “Inspired Moment” (Pausing at the Red Light). (The Robert Wesley Branch Show #203: The Spirituality of Love – originally broadcast on Saturday, February 14, 2015.)
