Recently, a good ol’ theological “dust up” between two brothers in Christ has occurred. The French Calvinistic Philosopher Guillaume Bignon joined Eli Ayala on his Revealed Apologetics show to attack the work of three libertarian freedom fighters. Not only did Bignon have Tim Stratton's FreeThinking Argument Against Naturalism (FAAN) in his sights, he also had attempted to take down Leighton Flowers and Braxton Hunter. In this episode, Stratton (with the help of Timothy Fox) responds to Bignon's latest objections against the FAAN. Here's some relevant links: Determinism Refuted...

Do I really have to sell you on listening to this episode? Even if you have no interest in what I have to say, imagine Tim Stratton grappling with anarchist ideas. It's amazing. This episode comes loosely from an article I wrote called "Can Christians be Anarchists?" where I argue that, you guessed it, Christians can be anarchists. Hope y'all enjoy. Relevant Links:

No more coronavirus talk for us this week. Tim and I are sick of it and ready to reminisce about better times. One of those times was a couple weeks ago, when Tim went on a trip to Utah with MAVEN in order to speak with students on a number of university campuses. Obviously Utah is home to many Mormons, so this gave Tim some insight into how to effectively engage those who are part of the LDS. If you're interested in booking a trip with MAVEN, go

First of all, apologies for the late episode. We ran into some issues with the recording but we managed to find some backups. In this episode, Tim and I talk to Dr. Dan Eichenberger, a man who has actually treated patients with coronavirus. We discuss what the disease is along with the country's reaction to it. If you didn't know anything about coronavirus (like me), you'll learn a lot in this episode. We also talk about how, as a doctor, one can show Christ through their work. Dr. Eichenberger gives us some great examples. If you're in a strong financial situation and Freethinking Ministries...

What a week, huh? It feels like every morning we wake up and there's news saying that we should gather with fewer people. How are we supposed to reconcile this scary situation with a God who says he loves us? Tim and I wrestle with that question in this episode. We also spend some time talking about why Christians have the most reason for hope among anyone. We talk about what we as Christians can be doing, both through prayer and through action to live out our faith during a time when we cannot physically gather with others. We hope this episode helps give you encouragement as we buckle down...

We’re back with the second episode discussing the moral argument for God’s existence. Tim deals with a specific objection posed by Erik Wielenberg to the first premise of this argument. Wielenberg is an atheist philosopher at Depauw University, and he purports to have a model by which the atheist can hold to objective morality. Needless to say, this episode was quite interesting!

The objection we talked about in this episode isn’t one you’re likely to come across in 95% of your everyday interactions, but it doesn’t hurt to have a good response in your back pocket either!
