Show Notes #400 Ash Perrow: Working from the Heart Today with my guest Ash Perrow, I release my 400th podcast episode. When I began this project, I had no idea where this journey would lead — only that I felt called to speak, reflect, and explore what matters most. Very few podcasts ever reach 400 episodes. I read that fewer than 1% of all podcasts reach 400 episodes. The real milestone, however, isn’t the number of shows. It’s the conversations, the growth, and the community that has formed along the way. At this time, I especially want to thank you for listening and thinking with me....

#399 Charlie: When No One is Watching I believe that a well-lived life isn’t built in grand moments. It’s made in small, unseen choices. It’s about staying consistent when no one is watching. Obviously, there is no single path to a well-lived life, but there are qualities that seem to appear along the way. In my mind those are: Authenticity, curiosity, resilience, and spirituality. These four are not achievements—they’re practices, quietly chosen, over and over again. These qualities certainly don’t guarantee ease, but they do deepen presence. And over time, they shape a life that...

My guest today is Chris Avery. With a humble but steadily growing community of 5,000 Christian men, Chris Avery brings a grounded voice to topics like discipline, fatherhood, and the gritty side of spiritual growth. Chris wasn’t born with unshakeable confidence. He’s walked through the valley of fear, experienced doubt, and rebuilt himself one mile at a time (which we will talk about more as the show proceeds). Chris has coached more than a thousand people, helping men find clarity, resilience, and deeper identity in Christ. Let’s find out more as we bring Chris Avery on the show!

My guest today is friend and poet Steve Garnass-Holmes. Steve Garnass-Holmes’s life is rich in thought and in experience. Talking to Steve is like talking to a writer of wisdom literature. Today we will begin the show by addressing the question, “What does it really mean to follow Jesus?” Is it a heart or head issue? The heart says to love while the head becomes laden with thoughts of being right. But there is really only one way to be right and that is To Love. Steve Garnass-Holmes will challenge what you may believe and then encourage you with one simple truth. Let’s find out...

Today we are in for a treat with my special guest Peter Ashworth. Bear with me as his introduction requires a bit more time than normal. That’s because Peter is far from normal.
Peter Ashworth is a 30-year veteran of creating companies and organizations. He is highly inspired every day to help others. He is currently the CEO and Founder of Live Possible | Fearless Life, an organization that helps people live their greatest potential.
Now this is really cool. Peter has just recently launched The Fearless Life Program, for those suffering from the debilitating effects of anxiety. As someone who has experienced this level of anxiety personally, I’m gonna be most interested in discovering more about Peter’s new program.
Did you know that Anxiety Disorders affect the lives of one in five people in North America? Peter’s Fearless Life program is a new, science-based, guided approach to killing anxiety. Fearless Life incorporates the amazing new breakthrough science of neuroplasticity, which we will talk about later.
Peter is also an Executive and Mindset Coach, which we will discover more in the show. An interesting note is that Peter played a role in the founding of Wells of Life, the charity that I am so deeply involved with.
Finally, Peter is a husband, father of 2 highly accomplished college-athletes, a fitness nut, an outdoor adventurer, and an artist.
So… before we run out of time why don’t we get Peter on the mic as we discuss, among other things, personal life design and strategies you might use to create your Next Chapter.
