Yertafgryn reaches the park where his brethren from Hell are located but he is confused to find access to the park is shut off. Police guard the entrance and scores of protestors picket the police lines. After causing a commotion he attracts the attention of the Council Rep who is responsible for the demons in the park. Yertafgryn is captured and is brought before the Council Rep who he then disrespects before walking off into the park. He finds that the park isn't a gathering of demons hell bent on mischief and chaos. It is subdued and miserable instead. As he walks on wondering at the misery, he discovers his old friend from Hell, Weuifo, who wastes no time in getting reaquainted with him. Weuifo explains the politics of the camp and how his allies are held prisoner in a vortex by the king of the camp, a demon called Efuhofcn.
