Here is an excerpt:
ORH always seeks to help God's people recover from hardship and also to help the lost in time of hardship. Pastor Timothy has sent us further information on David Mang's church situation. Please read his assessment of the church needs.
"Dear Jan, I am reporting to you David' Mang's Building in Mandalay. We are working on it.
Pastor David Mang’s three-story building in Mandalay was affected by the recent earthquake. The ground floor serves as the residence for the Mang family. The first floor is used as a worship center for the congregation, while the top floor serves multiple purposes, including Sunday school classes, Bible study sessions, and as a refreshment area.
The building’s four main pillars have sustained significant damage — they are cracked and partially broken, posing a serious safety risk. These pillars urgently need to be repaired and reinforced with iron supports. I have attached some photos showing the current condition. Timothy"
ORH is going to meet the church need of $8000 to repair the damage to the columns of the church building. Pray for the other churches that are damaged and also pray for the need for food supplies. Many are without money to purchase what is needed.
