Yesterdaze
Season 3 Episode 24: Dick Tracy (1990) Hot on the heels of 1989's Batman, Disney took a big swing at the classic comic character craze that was kicking off going into the 90s. After years in developmental Hell, Warren Beaty would emerge as the Director, Producer, and Star of this post Ishtar joint that ended up at Touchstone due to strong adult themes of action, as well as Madonna's nipples. Join us as we revisit Dick Tracy on Yesterdaze!

S3 Ep 20: The Rocketeer Oh the best laid plans of mice and men... This week features a pick from Patron Mike, and it really speaks to the cult classic status of certain properties, the perils of heavy handed studio interference, and how even the best efforts toward a film does not always lead to success. It's The Rocketeer, of course. Join us as we try to crack the code for what went wrong with this flick.

S3 Ep 19: UltraMan in the 80s! Coming to you by way of Busirus aka Corey, the boys take a swing at the UltraMan franchise. Beginning in the 60s, this franchise is far too extensive to cover everything about the subject...but thanks to some discussions with Corey, we landed on focusing on UltraMan in the 1980s. Special thanks again to Corey for this pick, as well as working with me to find the right approach to diving into the property! Enjoy!

Spider-Woman (1979)
Welcome to Season 3! We are kicking things off with a sequel to last January's Make Mine Marvel Month with Make Mine Marvel Month 2: Electric Boogaloo. I love that Jason hates that reference. We will be revisiting Marvel's Animated offerings of the 70's and 80's, and we kick it off with 1979's Spider-Woman. A single season consisting of 13 episodes, and WILDLY different from the comics, this largely forgotten toon definitely makes for an interesting revisit.
