info_outlineSelf comparison with others is a common behaviour pattern for many founders.
Some entrepreneurs subconsciously feel they need to become top of the game - not just the best, but like “on another planet the best”, so they can feel confident and never be judged by others.
By creating an internal hierarchy of validation, they spend a lot of time comparing themselves to those around them in a constant secret competition, and overriding what they truly want & need as a result.
And although this pattern can be a superpower in a way (as the need to be on top drives you to success & achieving great things) it has a dark side too…
Constant comparison creates a never-ending competition with those we deem as a threat. It extends far beyond business, into physical appearance, level of skill in sport, level of respect or status in community, and much more…
Over time, this erodes away at happiness & our ability to enjoy life & the success we have worked so hard to build
If you’re a founder or entrepreneur who is always needing to be better, always comparing to others in all areas of life, constantly pushing yourself to near burnout, and even after achieving a good level of financial success you cant stop - this episode is for you.
