Naching is a member of the Horror Writers Association, Mystery Writers of America, The Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers Association, and various Sherlock Holmes Scions. She is the Talent Relations Manager at Crystal Lake Entertainment and was a recipient of the 2022 HWA Diversity Grant.

Host: Michael Ehart has been at various times all the expected things: laborer, seminary student, musician, shoe salesman, political consultant, teacher, diaper truck driver, stand-up comedian, and the least important guy with an office at a movie studio. He made his first sale to a magazine at age 15, which means he has been writing for over 50 years, with the aforementioned occasional breaks for gainful employment.  He lives in the upper left hand corner of the United States with his wife and youngest daughter.

This is an exciting episode for me, as a former professor of mine, 17-year academic veteran, and Emerson Writer-in-Residence Jonathan Papernick kicks off the "Gift" prompt for the month of May with his story "Auto-Icon."

Jonathan Papernick, born and raised in Toronto, Canada, is the author of two short story collections, The Ascent of Eli Israel and There Is No Other and three novels, the most recent being I Am My Beloveds. He serves as Senior Writer-in-Residence in the Writing, Literature and Publishing department at Emerson College in Boston where he has taught since 2007. Jon has taught fiction writing for more than twenty years at Pratt Institute, GrubStreet, Brandeis University, Bar Ilan University and Emerson College, in Boston, where he has taught since 2007, serving as Senior Writer-in-Residence since 2012. In 2019 he started Paper&Ink Editorial, a manuscript editing and coaching service that has worked with clients in America and internationally. He lives in Providence, Rhode Island with his wife.
