Brand new location for our latest review, Providence Canyon in Georgia. Since we were camping in the woods we thought that Bear Fight American Single Whiskey was the perfect choice. After that long ass hike we were thirsty! In the video we give you some info on what's in the bottle and who makes it. Caribou Crossing review no. 0050 from Atlanta

A little change of scenery, this time shooting from Atlanta, GA with a beautiful fall back drop! On deck is a bottle of Caribou Crossing from Montreal Distillery made from over 200,000 selected barrels for this single barrel (not sure how that works, but ok). We sample this whisky that is supposed to reinvent Canadian Whisky. I also brought along some Blanton's since both are produced for the Sazerac Company and do a little side by side. We were so totally stoked to be involved with this Old Soul Bourbon Barrel Pick! Teaming up with Jax Bourbon Social, who does amazing work in the fight against MS, Tuesday's Creations, and Golden Ox Liquors with Ross Merriman from Cathead Distillery. What samples for the barrel pick did Ross bring? You'll have to watch the video to find out but I will tell you all the samples were cask strength! info_outlineIn part 2 we get into the Ryes! Like Chad says, all their grains come from Colorado so the rye comes from the San Luis Valley. Unlike others it's a 100% rye with 50% malted and 50% raw. Right off the nose it is different from any other rye whiskey out there. Then we move on the the award winning bonded rye, simply delicious. We also learn that Laws does not have just one master distiller, whoever is on the floor that day is the master distiller, what other distillery does that? Chad says they have wizards and mad scientists working back there and we agree! Lastly Chad breaks out the casks, a true representation of what they do. They definitely bring the heat but so good. This is where a cube or two comes in to play. Did we mention a giveaway? Huge thanks to Chad for coming down and letting us drink all of Laws whiskey and we even get our very own Whiskey and a Hammock bottle!
