A little change of scenery, this time shooting from Atlanta, GA with a beautiful fall back drop! On deck is a bottle of Caribou Crossing from Montreal Distillery made from over 200,000 selected barrels for this single barrel (not sure how that works, but ok). We sample this whisky that is supposed to reinvent Canadian Whisky. I also brought along some Blanton's since both are produced for the Sazerac Company and do a little side by side. Not sure what to expect, we popped open the Caribou and it was very interesting, watch the vid and see what we thought. Two very different tasting notes but...

info_outlineDan from North Point Bar travels down to sunny Florida on a #whiskeyventure bringing a bottle of 8 year Calumet Farms Bourbon. We all hung out the night before, drinking all sorts of whiskies and cocktails. All of rallied a review the next day and here it is! We get into a little bit of history of Calumet Farms, how they started and where they are now. Since Dan brought down the Calumet 8yr, Kris had a few surprises in his Whiskeyventure Back Pack pulling out a 14yr Calumet and a 15 that was still sealed and waiting to be opened. Then Sam Houston makes an appearance and we go through all 4 bottles. Giving you our tasting notes, some do's and don'ts plus, some wisdom from Dan. Watch the whole vid to see what won't go away, who works too hard for their money and who should just close their eyes.
