The Major Series of Poker: The Tour (MSPT) has joined forces with PokerNews for a biweekly podcast. The MSPT Podcast Presented By PokerNews will be hosted by Chad Holloway and 2021 MSPT Player of the Year Kyna England and will be available in both audio and video formats.

In the debut episode, Chad and Kyna lay the groundwork for the new show by highlighting where things currently stand with the MSPT. That includes taking a look back at completed events from the summer, current MSPT Season 16 Player of the Year and MSPT Icon leaderboard standings, and winners from the MSPT Colorado Poker State Championship at Bally’s Black Hawk.

They then recap the latest stop – the 2026 MSPT Iowa Poker State Championship – that was won by Mike Estes for $153,551 and his first title. Not only that, Jake Long finished as runner-up to jump to the top of the MSPT POY race while Chad took third place for $69k after a wild run.

Finally, Chad & Kyna take a look at the recently-introduced MSPT Gold Cards, which give players on the tour the opportunity to win in all MSPT tournaments priced $200 and above.
