info_outlineYes, that is what we are calling it. E Stanley Jones was one of the most significant man in the 20th century as an evangelist around the world. His work and reputation began in India and eventually the gospel of Jesus Christ was taken to millions.
He was just a man but at times it seems like he had almost superhuman strength and wisdom as he traveled widely, spoke often times five or six times a day, and wrote many articles and books that were published worldwide.
And when one, even today reads his books and studies his life and his many messages, you are overwhelmed by how much he was not only a man of his times but way ahead of his time in his understanding the world situation, and how we can best communicate the saving presence of Jesus to every man and woman,
But he has long since passed on, over 50 years ago now ... Still his messages and methods for living well, now and for all eternity, are still powerfully relevant, important, and vital to living in our present day.
In the performing world an Encore is a request to bring someone back on stage because they were so good at what they did that we want to hear and need to hear more.
What we want to do is see if using the modern media with it's worldwide reach if we can create some Encore programs where people who never had heard of him or knew of him and his wisdom, can be introduced to him and then do what he did so well, introduce people to Jesus as Lord, and surrender their life and follow him. We hope you will join us in this radio and video venture.
