My friend, Sam Harper was accused and convicted of killing his wife over 20 years ago in Philadelphia. Recently the new D.A., Krasner, exposed all of the corrupt Philadelphia cops, D.A. and Judges. He then allowed people to review their own evidence for an appeal. Sam was right in the mix of it. Nearly every one of the officers in his case were on the list. He has finally recieved his court date, March 30, 2026, in Philadelphia. Oh, and his wife was a Philadelphia cop - deep in corruption.

Sgt. EL and I became friends after we learned we both have many things in common, i.e., in addition to believing in second chances for people who deserve a second chance, we both sufffer from a plethora of mental health issues. Unfortunately, he has been recieving backlash from his place of employment, the Department of Corrections, which also has a large sign out front that states they do "not discriminate." Sgt. EL is starting his own podcast and I support him. NOTE: This conversation has STRONG LANGUAGE and TALKS OF SUICIDE.

Episode 53. Solitary Confinement

Some of my friends and I have opted to go to solitary confinement to get away from the reality that we belong to. After a few days, you begin to hallucinate, after a month you may not want to leave, This isn't the case for everyone. Some can't hadle it and eventually lose their minds completely. This is my 2nd conversation with Pat while he was in the Hole and he gets out soon. He is no stranger to solitary. His sister joins us for the first few minuets.

When COVID 19 hit, we were given the option to take a vaccine shot or solitary confinement. The next day we learned that they recalled the shot we took. The administration came to answer out shouts and insured us that though we took the recalled vaccine, we were fine. They even tried to get us to sign a waver. This is not an abstract problem. Every wrongful conviction is a human being whose future was erased, whose family was fractured, whose voice was dismissed because it was inconvenient. When courts stop correcting errors and institutions start protecting themselves, injustice becomes a policy rather than accident.

My friend Bashir and I spent 10 years in a Pennsylvania prison together. He was released before me and unfortunately was returned before I got out. That incident that caused him to come back was catalyzed By the PTSD from our corrupt judicial system, and being in prison, i.e., Two police officers approached him aggressively. And he reacted The only way he knew how. He was charged with assaulting a Police officer. Episode 48. Back in population

My friend Ricky has been in prison for almost five (5) years now, for a parole violations (well, a few parole violations - but he hasn't hurt anyone or taken anything). The guards have jumped him written false misconducts, put him in the hole for months, and knocked two (2) front teeth out. We haven't herd from him in a few months because they put him in the hole again. He's back in population nonw.

I developed PTSD as a result of the way I was treated by staff in prison. I was forced to watch several of them rip all of my property to pieces as I stood there in my boxers with handcuffs on and two guards at each arm. This was done once a week for several weeks as punishment for standing up to them. Sergeant John Doe also suffers from mental health issues and we both learn that our struggles aren't so dissimilar.
info_outlineMy friend, Aaron who I met in prison, is the same age as me - 40. He has been in prison since he was 15 years old for murder. He was caught up in crime at such a young age, and hanging out with older guys. I too, got caught up into crime around that age and we both have considered if things would have been different if we were born somewhere else or would we have ever went to prison if we had different parents. Would we have even gotten into crime if our Dad was Donald Trump or Joe Biden or would we had even went to jail if we did get into crime with parents like that. And, If it is our parents to blame, then at what point are we responsible?
