Just the other day, as the siren rang, signaling an incoming missile, I found myself walking briskly to my MaMa"D (Safe Room) once again, asking myself, "Who are the Houthis, and why the heck are they trying to kill me?" As each child sent a selfie from their respective safe rooms to the family chat, I thought: there must be so many others out there like me—people who aren’t Middle East experts but want to understand what's going on in this region. So, I reached out to none other than , the Middle East Affairs Correspondent at , to break it down for us. In this latest...

On this episode I had a great conversation with Rav Stav on whether or not there is a spike in the search for one’s Jewish identity in light of October 7th in Israel, on the Chief Rabbinate, and on Tzohar’s newest initiatives including how to make this Yom Kippur look different and more united than last year’s. “We all think we are right and the others are wrong. And it could be that it’s even true. But for peace and unity we sometimes have to pay prices. We don’t only have to be right; we have to be smart. And we have to be kind enough to give space...

On today’s episode we take a deep dive with Noam to hear how he and OpenDor Media and Unpacked are reaching the next generation where they are, through social media, podcasts and videos to educate them about Israel in a way that appeals to them.
