On November 7, 1967, retired USAF Colonel, Lee Ellis, was shot down on his 53rd bombing mission over North Vietnam. He was immediately captured by Viet Cong. He was taken to the famous Hanoi Hilton where he was a POW for the next 5 years, 4 months and 2 weeks. Listen to his incredible stories of enduring torture, learning how to communicate in silence with fellow prisoners and eventually returning home to is family.
