It finished repairs on four weirs in time for this spring's piscine visits, with the remainder of the project slated for a fall completion. The work also shored up a 100-plus year old retaining walls and along the way uncovered a previously-unknown wooden sluice-way that has been shared with the Mass Historical Commission.

Funding comes from room tax revenue, and the program aims to house nearly 100 individuals in total.
