If you identify as an HSP or resonate with some of the traits, this episode may feel familiar to you. Because of our high sensitivity, there are commonalities we share when it comes to how we experience intimacy and some of them can be frustrating to manage.
For instance, why does it take so much to calm our bodies and feel pleasure? Why do emotions come up during and after intimacy? Why can it be so difficult to just enjoy ourselves?!
High sensitivity can feel like a burden in these situations, but as we begin to understand what we need and how to ask for it, we can shift towards embracing it. Let's not forget that our sensitivity is also a gift and can make us wonderful partners and lovers. <3
