On June 24, 2023, America notes the one-year anniversary of the Dobbs decision that overturned Roe v. Wade. Our organization celebrates the historic moment in which we stand and recognizes that there is much work yet to be done in protecting life in New York and the nation.
Others, however, are digging in their pro-abortion heels. Governor Kathy Hochul quickly signed a bill into law that shelters New York abortionists who offer telehealth abortions to women in states where abortion is restricted.
Also, on the life front, I’ll tell you more about our recent win over assisted suicide in the now-concluded 2023 legislative session.
And, in other news, we’re grateful for the New York State Republican Party that is speaking out against the new State Education Department guidance that incredibly denies parents the right to know about what is going on in their children’s lives.
If that isn’t enough, New York City is now giving taxpayer-funded crack pipes, but in Syracuse a local school district is facing scrutiny for allowing its facilities to be used by a church for weekend worship services. Sometimes the world seems especially upside down.
