With so many larger local schools seeing success on the gridiron, a small school like 1B Liberty Christian can get overlooked, but are hoping to accomplish something that hasn't been done since 2012. Jamie Council catches up with Craig Lukins as the Patriots start state play this Friday as Ocosta comes to town. Kickoff is set for 5:00 at Fran Rish. Chiawana, Kamiakin, Richland, Kennewick, Prosser, East Valley, Othello, Royal, Tri-Cities Prep, and Columbia Burbank are also in action as post season play gets under way.

Chiawana and Richland are the MCC girls soccer champions -- Both programs finished league play with a 7-1 record. The Bombers are a perennial powerhouse. However, the Riverhawks are looking to make a statement on a statewide level, currently ranked top 10 in the state. The program hasn't made it to state since 2017 and has never made it past the first round of playoffs. District play starts next Tuesday:
