More than 90 percent of cancer survivors who go through chemotherapy and/or radiation therapy suffer lasting physical issues, however only a small percentage of those people seek physical therapy, which has been medically proven to help deminish those lasting challenges. Many believe that this is due to people not understanding how helpful physical therapy can be. There is also a misunderstanding amoung the survivor community that they should just "tough it out" rather than seek the lasting help that is available through simply physical therapy exercises, and stretches.
