You have a job to do. You have a race to run. A set course and purpose for your life designed specifically for you by the Creator, the same creator who made you. Sin and weights of our past keep us from running this race with the joy, effectiveness and purpose that is meant for us. In this episode go to the book of Hebrews and discover what we must do in order to run the race set before each of us.

Episode 15 - Too Wise For Our Own Good

It seemed foolish that a carpenter from Nazareth could be the son of God and savior of the world. Religious leaders of the time created their own ideas of what the coming messiah would look like. Jesus did not fit the bill and was crucified for it. Still today this story is foolishness to many who hear it. This episode explores the link between those who crucified Christ and our own need for God to do things our way.

As a Christian you are called to be the hands and feet of Jesus. For the majority of us that is lived out by doing various acts of service for others; feeding the hungry and giving to the poor. However, there is another side of serving others that isn't as obvious as giving money to the man on the median. What if serving others is much more subtle? This episode examines another facet of what it means to be His hands and feet and how Jesus moves through His people, people like you, to do His amazing works.

Grace...what is grace? What does that word mean to you? Is it comforting? Is it foreign? Grace is a hard concept to understand simply because it is unlike anything we are taught in this world. In fact I would go so far as to say it is the opposite of what we are taught in this world. In this episode we look to a powerful and insightful verse in the book of Romans to help us figure out to what grace is, who it is for and at what price it comes.

Episode 12 - Finding Hope in Hopelessness

If you have ever felt hopeless you know it is a hard feeling to shake. Hopelessness, like a wildfire, tends to start small but grows quickly and consumes every ounce of joy in its path. Jesus, the source of all hope, not only wants to help us out of these moments of deep sorrow but wants to use them for good to build endurance and character in us. With Christ, getting out of a season of hopelessness is possible and this episode will give you the tools to overcome even the most hopeless of situations.

We live in a world of choices. Whatever it is that we desire we are flooded with choices, much like the array of choices presented at a vending machine. We make our selection in hopes that it will feed our craving, but what if it doesn't? This episode will expose the cycle the enemy has created to keep us down and out and never full satiated. Discover how Jesus wants to break that cycle and is the only selection we ever need to choose to fulfill the desires of our heart.

With only one goal in mind, to steal, kill and destroy the enemy uses our doubts, weaknesses and flat out lies to keep us from peace, joy and communion with our Creator and Lord. It's time to take your thought life seriously and show the enemy that God's strength and love for us always wins.
