HELLO FRIENDS!
info_outlineAge Inappropriate: A Podcast for Book Nerds
We're trying a couple of new things this season, mostly because Karen is lazy so while we may have fewer episodes, we will have the musical stylings of the lovely Reed each episode. Here's a little behind the scenes of how the music process gets made...

The end of the summer approaches! We're hoping you're all safe and masked up. This time we're looking at Christopher Pike's Last Act and asking ourselves WHAT ABOUT THE DUCKS THO. Joined by the lovely Reed.

Honestly, the most exciting thing about this book was the cover, and the hands down most exciting thing about this episode is that we've conned John into audio engineering for us! John has notes!

Oooh, this book was bad, my friends. We're reading John Grisham's The Pelican Brief and marveling at just how racist and sexist and otherwise horrifying the 90s really were. Amazingly so.
info_outlineYou've been warned, and now we're back to school with Jane Yolen's absolute classic The Devil's Arithmetic. You do not remember how brutal it is, but it's oh so important.
Next up is Johanna Reiss' The Upstairs Room, which after Devil's Arithmetic is almost light-hearted.
