info_outline The FoundationFire and Hope
Christ has built our foundation. How we live it out can be totally contrary to the way it was intended for us to live. One of my new favorite songs, The Bones made me reflect on the many ways my foundation was built and how I live it out. Sometimes we are bigger than we are living it out. Check your foundation! "My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus Blood and righteousness..." Don't live smaller than you're foundation!

Galatians 5:16-18 (NIV) 16 So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. 17 For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

info_outlineLuke 5:12-16 (NIV) 12 While Jesus was in one of the towns, a man came along who was covered with leprosy. When he saw Jesus, he fell with his face to the ground and begged him, “Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.” 13 Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!” And immediately the leprosy left him. 14 Then Jesus ordered him, “Don’t tell anyone, but go, show yourself to the priest and offer the sacrifices that Moses commanded for your cleansing, as a testimony to them.” 15 Yet the news about him spread all the more, so that crowds of people came to hear him and to be healed of their sicknesses. 16 But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.
