Performative Activism

What is activism without the performance? When does performative activism just become about the performance and your own ego? There's a slippery slope between how we curate our lives online and what our lives, and our activism, looks like without the filter. Throw in a pandemic and activism and it gets even more complicated when we use social media to convey political beliefs.
