With a career spanning 3 decades, Kittie has pioneered the metal genre and are arguably one of the most influential early torch bearers for female representation and acceptance in modern metal.
 
Formed in 1996 by sisters Morgan and Mercedes Lander, Kittie has 6 full length albums and one gold record in the US under their belt, with over 2 million in tangible album sales during their career, and tens of millions of streams annually.
 
Their career-spanning documentary Kittie Origins/Evolutions is available on Prime and was released in 2018 to critical acclaim. The band has recently become active again after a 10 year hiatus and plans for new music are forthcoming.
