Pete Russell has been busy with his core team hat on ... hence the interruption to regular podcasts. The news is great, though! This special edition videocast marks the release of Joomla! 1.5 Beta 2. With today's release of Joomla! 1.5 Beta-2, we're shifting gears into turbo mode; an entirely re-factored core, internationalisation, FTP layering, next-generation API that's so flexible and powerful and, of course, a designer's dream for unparallelled templating flexibility.
As this is the final Beta for Joomla! 1.5, we put together a montage of 'tribute' screenshots of some of the community, business and not-for-profit sites created in the 1.0 series of Joomla! Watch the whole video, you might see some of your works there. The Georgia Wonder song "Genius" we felt was appropriate to remember what we've done so far and what's yet to come with Joomla! 1.5.
