Episode #007 - Language Translation with Alex Kempkens, Joomla! Core Developer

Alex Kempkens, of Munich, in Germany, is one of the longest-serving core developers of Mambo and now Joomla! Alex is responsible for the development of the multi-lingual site translation component Joom!Fish. The project, formerly known as MambelFish in its Mambo days, and now superseded in its Joomla! form has been under development for forthcoming releases of Joomla! Alex talks about how the Joom!Fish makes translations seamless for users of Joomla! This is a very important feature for people wanting to reach more than one language. He explains how this system works for even those of us who are technologically challenged. Alex also announces a Joomla! Developer book in the wings and new JoomFish logo which was kindly created by Tommy White.
