Episode #006 - Georgia Wonder: Interview with Julian Moore

Julian Moore is a band member of Georgia Wonder. With Julian writing songs and playing guitar and Stef Grant singing, Georgia Wonder has already carved out a popular following in the United Kingdom. Julian wanted to create a website for the band and fortune stepped in just before Christmas to see this process unfold. Listen the podcast to hear how a serious fall led Julian on his Joomla! escapade. "I really couldn't have done it without Joomla!," he said. "Although I have some experience with web design and programming, I couldn't figure out how people got all these cool websites with user profiles and interactive content. After trying all kinds of free CMS software, I finally settled with Joomla! and my questions were answered." In the interview with Pete, Julian also explains some of his marketing methods to drive traffic to his website. It seems Georgia Wonder has a healthy community all its own by using components like Community Builder, a Wimpy player, blogs and much, much more.
