Francesco Prevosti has had the great fortune to devote his entire life to the spiritual path. He has played a pivotal role in establishing several Buddhist centers, including the renowned Lama Tsong Khapa Institute in Pomaia, Italy, Nalanda Monastery in France, and the Albagnano Healing Meditation Centre.  

His spiritual path into Buddhism and Eastern philosophy began in the early 1970s where he studied with many of the great Tibetan masters, including H.H. the Dalai Lama, Lama Yeshe, Lama Zopa and Lama Gangchen Rinpoche. He was one of the first westerners to  become an ordained monk in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition and is now an accomplished dharma teacher, translator, astrologer and photographer.  As a monk and now as a layperson, Francescos presence is the embodiment of inner calm and equanimity.
