Lola was born and raised in Nigeria, where her passion for cooking started at a very young age. She cooked her first family meal at the age of eight and has cooked for most of her young life. Although Lola obtained a degree in geology and mineral science, she chose to follow her passion by instead first working in restaurants before moving into blogging. Lola now works on creating delicious recipes and teaching people how to do the same in the comfort of their home. Lola is also a self-taught baker, which she attributes to her grandmother's influence.
