Two sets of paternal twins make up the Alternative band ‘After The Millennials’. From the same parents too! They grew up with instruments surrounding them and naturally fell into it. The youngest twins, Nate and Naomi (16), are kind of the glue for this group…mainly Naomi actually. She’s also the one who does most of the talking, writing, and singing. info_outlineK Prouty is an Alternative/Metal INSTRUMENTAL band headed by guitar fiend Ken Prouty. He showed up to the recording session with his entire rig and wanted to play live for us! He brought some backing tracks for three of their songs and had his bassist (and wife) bring her gear too. We plugged them both directly into the setup and off we went... The professional skateboarder decided that guitar was a better path and began focusing more on it when he was around 18. He has a calm about him that comes from being worldly...he was born in Japan and has travelled all over the world, helping to increase his diversity in music and cultures.
Ken grew up with a multitude of influences in music, from the 70's rock of his oldest brother and the new wave of his other brother to the widely different preferences both of his parents had he's heard it all. His grandma's 8-track of the Everly Brothers got him hooked with the tremolo effect! We found K Prouty from our ReverbNation campaign and he rocked us with his impressive skills.
