There are many Laksmi (Lakshmi) chants for abundance. This one includes "Maha" - which translates as "great". So it translates as asking for, petitioning for great abundance! Chant this in multiples of 3 - 3, 6, 9...or 21, 27, or 54. A full mala (the prayer beads used to keep count of your mantra in Japa chanting) has 108 beads. So 54 is a half mala, 27, a quarter. 108 is a wonderful full practice! When you have finished chanting, sit in silence for a few minutes to allow the resonance to settle within and around you. World Sound Healing Day takes place on the 14th February each year. I offered a free yoga and chant session this year (2025) and this chant was loved by all. A Sanskrit mantra that often chanted at the conclusion of a yoga practice. Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu means "may everyone, in the whole world, be happy". It can be chanted, sung or meditated upon to offer as a prayer, or shloka for the whole world
