She leads public relations for the Farhang Foundation, a non-profit, non-religious, non-political organization established in 2008 to celebrate and promote Iranian art and culture for the benefit of the community at large. Farhang partners with prestigious institutions in Los Angeles including LACMA, the Getty Museum, The Getty Villa, The Broad, Broad Stage, The Hollywood Bowl, and other notable organizations. Standout projects for Farhang include public relations for the monumental, permanent public artwork, The Freedom Sculpture, on Santa Monica Blvd., which garnered over 70,000 attendees at the unveiling, as well as the annual celebration of Nowruz at UCLA attended by over 25,000 visitors yearly.
Roxie received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English at UCLA. She worked at the Getty Museum's Research Institute during her final year in college, handling scholars’ requests regarding Frank Lloyd Wright correspondence. She has also been a chairperson for the ICAA’s Southern California Neoclassicists.
