info_outlineHuman wisdom is much different from the wisdom imparted by the Spirit. Human wisdom is confined by the limitations of our earthly minds, subject to ever-shifting desires and restricted knowledge. In stark contrast, the wisdom granted by the Spirit is eternal, directly emanating from the Father. The Book of Ephesians further explains spiritual wisdom within the following verses:
17"that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, 18the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,"
Spiritual wisdom is imparted by the Holy Spirit as you progress in your relationship with God. It is important to know that God wants to "enlighten" you in order for you to perceive the world in a different light. It is your duty to now live and move in this light so that the Lord may continually reveal the hidden wisdom that no man can achieve on their own. This is the wisdom that allows you to produce fruit in your personal life, while directly impacting those around you. The Lord wants to use you in order to minister to others on a daily basis, therefore enlightening your mind and understanding so that you may better reflect Christ.
